SPECIAL APPLICATIONS

The real time monitoring systems manufactured by ORTO are flexible and can handle any type of sensor with an output of 4-20 mA or 0-10 Volts. That makes it possible to monitor transformers as well as other power equipments. ORTO has developed real time monitoring systems for a variety of applications, such as:

These systems use sensors that measure the temperature at different parts of the stator to detect excessive heating problems.

These systems use sensors to measure voltage, current, power, energy, billing, power factor and harmonic distortion for voltage and current. With the combination of these sensors it is possible to detect problems such as voltages out of the specified tolerance range, power peaks, harmonic distortion, consoles that are out of service, as well as the verification of values such as peak demand, consumed energy and billing.
